Trip to Fabulous Dalyan Turtle Beach & Ancient Caunos

This unique environment is being preserved as a nature and wildlife sanctuary. The village of Dalyan is situated on an inland waterway within a fascinating maze of channels. The unique scenery can be easily explored by boat as you immerse yourself in a tranquil dream world. The waterway takes you to the famous mud baths that will rejuvenate your youth. We will pass by the magnificent rock tombs of Caunos City carved into the face of a high cliff. After lunch we will follow the maze of channels to a nature refuge for sea turtles and blue crabs on a beautiful sandy beach. You will be here about one hour. Please bring sun block and beach towel.

 

An old Lycian city in a magnificent setting with a beautiful view. We will visit a charming ghost town of empty houses and churches that was inhabited by Greeks until early last century. Greek pottery and port wine making traditions are still followed in the town. After a scenic journey through hills covered with lush pine forests, we will reach the famous Lycian rock tombs. The tomb of Prince Amyntas, a remarkable one, dates back to 450 BC.

All day exciting jeep safari in a panaromic countryside

We will be passing through a beautiful panorama of countryside villages and ancient Roman and Lycian sites, to visit a natural fish farm on top of a mountain with an exotic bar under apple and pomegranate trees. Later you will be taken to a canyon in the hidden valley of the Xanthos river, where millions of gallons of icy water spray out of the rocks every minute. We will then follow the river bed through quintessential Turkish villages and enjoy the natural beauty of the Taurus mountain forests, fields and meadows, all the way to the ancient city of Patara, located on 12 miles of golden sandy beach on the Mediterranean coast.

All day boat trip to the 12 islands of Fethiye bay

A great day for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the bay at various beaches and islands. After lunch on one of the islands, we will be visiting the Cleopatra Bath of the Byzantine period and swim nearby.
